will ask you... "What would you like to do with this file?"
Most always you will click on the white circle [which will place a black
dot in it] that says: "Save this program to disk", Then click
the "OK" button. At this time, another window ["Save As"]
pops up... (
Figure B ) .
Use the drop down arrow head in the ["Save in"] window at the
top and select "My Documents" folder (which is normally in C:\
). If My Documents is already selected, leave it there.

computer from website on the remote computer. Before download is complete,

| Note:
. (If, at anytime you loose the file
you are down-loading, you can find it again by using the "Search"
feature on your IBM Compatable computer. You must however, know filename
you are looking for. In Windows '95, '98, Me, 2000 & XP, press the "Start"
button in the lower left corner of your screen, then go to "Search".
Just type the name of your file in the "Search for files or folders"
area of the search program. Dont forget to use the down arrow and select
the correct drive that you put your file on, usually [C:] drive. Press the
"Search Now" button.) |

|
|
| |
| 4.)
In Windows Explorer, (Figure
D) double-click
on the newly downloaded file at the directory where you told your computer
to save the file to start the installation process. |
| |
|
Follow
the instructions on your installation screen.
|
|
| If
there is a failure at any point during the installation of most programs,
the installer should perform a complete uninstall. For this reason, it is
important not to close the installer application at any time as the installation
will complete automatically. |
|
| Access
the new program like any other by using the "START" button, then
"Programs"... now look for it listed click on it one time. |
|
| (Tip
for the day!) Remember when working with files in Windows Explorer (in windows
'98, Me, 2000 & XP operating systems), "Left Clicking" on
the file with your mouse selects it. "Right Clicking" on the file
will bring up a small menu so you can preform more functions. |
